Mission Statement

What Drives RunChina

We seek to develop new international events and cooperation all over the world, including China and Asia. Our company is located in New York City with team members in the US and China.

Our goal is to create high-quality international events in natural scenic areas with well-known cultural and historic landscapes, establish international brands, attract international participants, promote the development of local tourism resources and local economy.

We promote exchange and cooperation between China and organizations worldwide through the platform of endurance sports tourism.

Marathon Runner & Triathlete

Charles Huang has participated in more than 60 marathons and triathlon race events around the world, including the NYC Triathlon and the NYC, Chicago, Berlin, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, and Haikou marathons.

The Pioneer

Introducing World Marathon Majors to China

Charles Huang created the Marathon Tour business in China working as Managing Director at CTS Sports Travel Services, creating the RunChina brand name.

RunChina is the first international tour partner of London, Berlin, Chicago, and the New York City Marathon in China, and the first Tour Agent that presents the World Marathon Major in Beijing, Shanghai, and Haikou Marathon Expo.

RunChina has extensive connections with the Chinese running community, recruiting Chinese runners and organizing marathon tours to participate in World Marathon Major race events since 2014.

Jinshanling Great Wall Marathon is our premier partner event that has tremendous growing international participation, becoming one of the most important running events in the international running community.

RunChina is the first company that presented China Marathons to the World Marathon Major Expo, presenting the Great Wall and many other China Marathons to the Chicago and New York City Marathon Expo.

A Bilingual, Global Team

The business has been growing in the past years. The company has the technology and digital marketing team in the US, developing websites and marketing, while team members in China provide on-site services. All of them have bilingual language skills, and many of them are marathon runners.

US Team — Tech & Marketing

New York-based technology and digital marketing team responsible for website development, SEO, social media, international runner outreach, and partnership management.

China Team — On-Site Services

China-based team handling race-day logistics, hotel coordination, airport transfers, guided sightseeing, local runner liaison, and event operations across all venues.

Bilingual & Experienced

Every team member has bilingual Chinese-English language skills. Many are marathon runners themselves — so they understand the race experience from the runner's perspective.
